GREEN REVOLUTION

In 1950 to 1980 there is a program that called "Green revolution". World food production doubled with introduction of a new approach to agriculture for a new types of grain (wheat, corn, rice). Unfortunately, this is no longer successful. It caused by the expense the new farming methods, farmers must use large amounts of expensive chemical fertilizer, and also the expensive chemical insects. expensive watering system also the reason why it no longer successful. many farmers cannot afford it. green revolution has brought about social and political conflict because the cost of the new agricultural methods. government and farmers need to look at the overall picture and long-term effect and need to find a new methods that will better for the world's hungry people and will also be less destructive.
